Fraude en Facebook en nombre de "Bishop Espaillat"

A statement from the Communications Office of the Archdiocese of New York:

There currently is a fraudulent Facebook account, claiming to be from Bishop Joseph Espaillat, that is trying to scam money from people, by demanding hundreds of dollars in gift cards, in order to arrange a meeting with the bishop.

Please note that Bishop Espaillat does not have a Facebook account and would never demand money from anyone who wishes to meet with him. 

If you are contacted by someone claiming to be a representative of Bishop Espaillat seeking money for meetings, please report it to proper authorities.  You can reach Bishop Espaillat at the Archdiocese.
